In My Mailbox #31

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. Head on over there to see what bloggers got in their mailboxes this week!

And here's what I got this week:

This Gorgeous Game by Donna Freitas (Farrar, Straus, & Giroux, May 2010).
Summary from ARC:

Seventeen-year-old Olivia Peters is over the moon when her literary idol, the celebrated novelist and much-adored local priest Mark D. Brendan, agrees to act as her personal mentor. But when Father Mark's enthusiasm for Olivia's writing develops into something more, Olivia's emotions quickly shift from wonder to confusion to despair. Exactly what game is Father Mark playing, and how on earth can Olivia get out of it?

And that's it! Just the one book this week and it looks like a good one. Kelly at Stacked already read it and said that it's a story she won't forget

Did you get anything special in the mail this week?

Father Mark sounds really creepy. This Gorgeous Game is on my TBR list so I'll be anxious to hear what you think of it. It is a very different book from The Possibilities of Sainthood which was an enjoyable romantic comedy. Have you read that one?

I like your blog! I've added a link to it from my blog, from a new Book Review page. I'll soon be blogging about the importance of reviewers. Thanks for doing what you do!
